A beautiful photo - one of the best images I've seen so far on deviant. I only wish it wasn't so grainy - seems like some info was lost in photoshop? If this were a little more sharp for the water, it'd seem shinier and provide a great textural contrast for the dark figure - her contrast with the place is killer already, btw.

Grain comes from the film, Ilford on high speed film is providing this signature grain. I was looking for it otherwise i would have bought another film providing less grain on 400 iso. Thanks for your comment

This is so beautiful. The expression on the woman's face is wonderful. She seems to have a ring of light outlining her body, which is amazing.

excellent B&W portrait 
wish she had her left heel in the arch of her right foot--would have slightly altered her stance--may have increased the dynamic range/reduced the shadow on her feet/legs but no big deal; it works well!

thanks for the detailed comment. Actually, the shot was more or less spontaneous and to be 100% honnest i wasn't giving her instructions nor was too much paying attention to the dynamic of her posture
