I absolutely adore this piece: there is just so much to love about it!
First of all the colours are beautiful. They look incredibly harmonious together and meld the piece together fabulously.
The entire scenario is such a gorgeous concept as well; bears fishing = too cute! They really help create a lovely light vibe on the whole area. I really wish I had programming skills - imagine the game! It would be absolutely adorable.

I guess at this rate I'll soon be a pixel artist too. Well maybe when I'm not commenting on my own stuff anymore. Man I so identify with the athletic acting (not looking) bear skipping from stone to stone like a greased lighting. Β If someone wants to make me a decent bear fishing game you can have my everlasting love.
You know... since we're hanging out here and are clearly buddies I can reveal to you that I'm not totally in love with myself or anything but sometimes when I make a piece like this that I like I just stare at it sometimes when it's done. I don't know what it is about the piece "Lake" but I've probably looked at that piece longer than anything else lately. That thing has an oddly quieting power over my mind.
Β This bear thing however is like an imaginary vacation for me. I wish I lived in a world where developers make games like these where the general goal is just to create chill good vibes. Who knows maybe I'll someday be able to make it myself.
If I can teach myself to use zbrush in few weeks anything should be possible in theory right?

Fantastic concept, and you are absolutely right, a bear fishing game with the purpose of serene graphics and gameplay to relax sounds like an absolutely brilliant idea. Looking at this piece gives me a feel of a mix of different games, particularly Stardew Valley, giving off that serene feeling with a relaxed pace. Provided if I wasΒ a game designer, you would definitely have my green light!
I can relate with how you aren't particularly in love with yourself, and I think it's great that you could sink yourself into your very own work.
