I really like it, which I was going to add MMD models to SFM where the models is PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale by CrossMMD (Link - www.deviantart.com/crossmmd/ga… ) that I can make PSASBR art with Source Filmmaker.
However, I'm not an model coding expert which I really want the MMD characters in SFM.

I was trying to convert Feng Min from Dead By Daylight, but for some reason her eye textures are not fitting right. Is there a way I can fix this??

Sometimes I get some problem when converting SFM model,
You can try convert from XNALara here
or just take the textures only

I was able to fix her textures, but the bones were a pain in the ass. I can simply just convert this to PMX/PMD when I download this?

ok, first thanks for the tutorial
i have a small problem... when i extract the textures (it work) but all the textures appear to be semi-invisible (or super white and see-througth) . i tryed different option in pmx editor for make the texture better but nothing change that.
do you know how to fix that ?
edit : they are an invisible layer on it (alpha channel), even if i delete it, model is still semi invisible. (well , gonna try another model i guess :/ )

Sometime I need to fix the textures. I usually convert the textures using VTFedit to TGA. If there is problem about transparency, I convert TGA to PNG/BMP using photoshop.

i didn't mean the bones though, i was wondering if it already came with sliders for the eyes, eyebrows, mouth and extras (blush, tears, etc)

I know, now I know how to do facial sliders, I just have trouble with naming, I have no idea how to name a "left wink" in japanese so the motions would recognize them, all in english, just my luck.

alright, i followed all the steps, everything works fine for the model im exporting, but it wont load in mmd and crashes it. it works completely fine in pmx editor. just not in mmd.

My method to get it work, first take another model example Miku, open it on pmx editor, delete all textures, bones, facials and physics, then drag SFM model conversion by option adding import, save it.

Are sure put the right texture?
For good results convert parts one by one. I have experiments converting all parts in blender into 1 file, the result is texture messed up

When you resize the model on PMX editor, textures will be matched automatically. Its flexible not only 0.3 even resize to 1 or 100, textures will still follow it.

Even if texture is pasted after setting the size to 0.3 in PMX Editor, it will not be reflected in the model.
Conversely, without changing the model size, you will prosper as you leave the texture.
How can I apply the texture in 0.3 size?

For facials based on bone direction like on my model, take 1 sample of my model who have facials include all facial bones without materials then use it to replace your project model.
Make sure your project model have match facial bones name. Example on sample model there is bone name "head jaw" so on your project model must have same name "head jaw".
After that check all facials to make sure it's right or not. If not match, you need to edit bone direction xyz.

I need help because im trying to convert scout from tf2 into mmd but, whenever i get to fixing the materials, it never changes it just stays white, i converted the model parts to .pmx and the texture files to .png

I finally got the textures to work, but now it just crashes my mmd, and its not because of the bones because i have tried to load the model without its bones but it still crashed

You cannot load model without bone and weight on mmd program. But you can open it on pmde or pmx editor.

thanks its been bugging me for ages, sadly i cannot rig, even worse is its a fnaf sister location model which means i would have to rig the face plates, i'll just have to wait until someone else does it

I normally wouldn't ask this, as I hate to bother people, but please could you help me? I've been trying to export this model for quite a while, but whenever I put either the .smd or .dae file into Blender and try to export as a .pmx, it always comes up with an error.

I didn't found error while converting that model to pmd and pmx.
Maybe your mmd addons not compatible with your blender version.
My blender version 2.71 not newest but worked.

I've been trying to convert some raw game rips for so long from .smd to .pmd, this is bound to help me at least a bit ;v;

On models-resource.com sometime there are 3 type file raw game rips, .smd, .dae, and .fbx.
For .fbx the rigged bone not available. For .dae rigged bone available but sometimes the bone size not match.
From .smd is the best way directly convert to pmd/pmx without rigging
