Description
First of all, my computer has deigned to let D&Ds work in Snow Scene, so I can make dolls there againTo celebrate this glorious event, I used D&Ds to make a set of emblems, representing different social groups of Ydnel, the world of one of my own stories.
Second, to practice more at making patterns in Snow Scene Maker, I am going to make some adoptable dolls
They would be based on the people belonging to the classes I described above. Is anyone interested?
Well, you should not adopt it if you do not really like it. Actually you can as just as request a picture of your OC or even of yourself in Ydnel. Or you can just make a creative suggestion and help me to find inspiration.
Whatever you decide, please state:
- gender (male or female),
- age (15+ please, it is impossible to make kids in Snow Scene properly)
- social group - choose one of the 12 above (do not hesitate to ask for more information)
- the kind of outfit (for cold/warm weather, everyday, festive/fomal, wedding)
- preferred colour(s), perhaps some special features/accessoires
- it would add to the personality if you come up with a name as well, and please tell what this name means
- if you request your own OC, please give some info about them

First row:
1 travellers and explorers; messengers; other people engaged in transport affairs like inn-keepers, cab drivers and ship owners;
I tried to picture sea - the sun and seagulls, waves with drops of spindrift and underwater creatures - snails, starfish and scallop (with a pearl just for the proper spirit);
Preferred colours - blues, greens, cream and brown;
2 herdsmen living mostly in mountain areas and steppes, engaged in animal breeding for food, transport etc;
I tried to picture mountains (let us pretend that these brown V-s are eagles), horns and cattle bell, and eagle feathers;
Preferred colours - red, orange, yellow, rust, brown, grey, sometimes also a bit of blue and violet for decoration;
3 forest dwellers engaged in picking and growing forest herbs and fruits, producing lumber and wood carving;
I tried to picture different forest plants, with the famous luck-bringing altenlik flower in the middle;
Preferred colours - greens, yellows, golden, cream, browns, sometimes also neutral blues and blue-violet;
4 people engaged in the field of education, medicine, arts or local kind of mass media;
I tried to picture an open book (and quite failed), the sun and moon (two more of numerous symbols of knowledge), herbs for healing and on the bottom, there is a local kind of TV working with help of menthal abilities;
Preferred colours - basically all except for black, red and dark shades of other colours;
Second row:
5 fisherfolk obtaining all kinds of marine animals and plants;
I tried to picture a fishnet, two fish, drops of water, and some seaweed;
Preferred colours - blues, sea greens, violet, chestnut brown, copper, bronze, dawn red/pink, coral;
6 the wealthy part of military estate (royalty of Erum and secret worshippers of Chaos also go here);
I tried to picture a torch with flames, jewelled decorations and on the bottom, the symbol of Chaos;
Preferred colours - red, orange, yellow, mint, turquoise, purple, pink, dark brown, black; no white and pastel shades;
7 farmers growing crops, vegetables and fruits for trade;
I tried to picture crops, different berries and fruits, including the nilat tree in the middle;
Preferred colours - yellows and warmer greens, cream, brown, soft pink and blue, sometimes also soft lilac;
8 the symbol of Light and Ylenorem, the Great Balance, also naturally connected to Reborn;
Third row:
9 traders and merchants;
I tried to picture a colourful trader's tent, and of course in the middle there is altenlik flower, as the symbol of trade;
Preferred colours - all kinds of blue, violet and purple; emerald green, brown; sometimes orange/yellow for decoration
10 crimestoppers and guards;
I tried to picture a bow and an arrow and a sword on a patterned swordbelt;
Preferred colours - red, rust, brown, black for guards in Erum; blue, white and gold for guards of Nidan; greens and browns for road guards in both lands;
11 people engaged in all kind of crafts, building and extraction of minerals, metals and precious stones (royalty of Nidan also goes here since they came from craftsmen);
I tried to picture mostly ribons, jewellery and perfume (the famous lyde essence);
Preferred colours - browns, rust, orange, yellow, sand; all blues, emerald/jade greens;sometimes also violet and dark pink
12 templars engaged in weather control and other activities requiring telekinesis or mind-reading, their efforts provide the proper broadcasting work of mass media as well;
I tried to picture scales, the main symbol of balance in Ydnel, a crystal ball, crystal lamps and stained glass - the renowned features of the temples of Ylenorem;
Preferred colours - basically all except for black, red and dark shades of other colours; pastels are favoured though

Should I find time for continuing to make the series (I would like to hope I find), I will certainly take your request.
I only have two questions.
First, the formal wear in this group means a landscape painted on the clothes. Which kind and colours you would like it to be?
Second. I like the name Odette itself, but its ''earthy'' meaning, ''wealth'' is rather not typical for this social group where the names associated with light and air are more favoured. Would you suggest something else - not the name, but the meaning it could have?..

Ohh, a landscape. That sounds cool! Well, maybe she'd be wearing some sort of spring scene, bc I think that'd be pretty on her. I think I mentioned the colors in the info, but here they are anyway: pastel colors, preferably white, with light pinks, light greens, and light blues. Like the picture of a spring day.
Ahh, I see. Perhaps I could change her name, since I could not find any other suitable meanings other than wealth. What about Fleur? It means flora in French.

- For a landscape, perhaps something like this ? Probably not exactly that picture, but of that kind, with clouds, snowy mountains and alpine flowers?..
- I was in fact asking you to come up with a name meaning instead of name itself since I would like to translate it into the landguage of the fantasy world these emblems belong to. The name you suggest actually means 'flower' and in Ydnel language it would be Anta(a flower) or Antelika(a little flower).

That landscape picture is absolutely beautiful! I would be delighted to have that in her dress. Any picture with the snowy mountains, clouds, and alpine flowers would be perfect!

With regard to the name. Yes, The world of Ydnel has its own language (invented by me). You suggest what you would like her name to mean, and I translate it and tell how it would be in Ydnelian language.
If you take a look at the ready pictures, you will see that each character has an Ydnelian name.

Finally commenting... These are incredibly beautiful, each one has a great design and I love how they indeed symbolize the social groups. Those tiny details, the book, the trees, the scales and so on.
Wish I could give a request for each of the groups, but since I already have given you another request, I think I'll study your Ydnel style dresses and try some of my own. BTW, how is my requested pic going?

It seems summer is a good time to ponder about Ydnel (as I figured last year when making Ydnel-related characters for FPK).
As for your request, I am still thinking on it, and by the way making these adoptables helps a lot with it, so to say, helps to feel the air better (moreover that currently I am making a request of a gang of outlaws).

Your work never ceases to amaze me, Arrelline! I hope you don't mind me putting in two requests (and if you are no longer doing these I completely understand!)
· Gender: Female
·Age: Late Twenties (so roughly 27 or so)
· Social Group: 10 – The Guards
· Outfit: Either a uniform/suit of armor or an everyday sort of look
· Preferred Colors: I normally use black, red, silver/gray and a little white, but please feel free to use any sort of colors you feel would match your world the best! I would love to see how you would create some sort of weapon (either a sword/dagger or bow). As for facial features maybe a smirk?
· Personality: Daniyah is one who has immense perseverance, even when others have given up, she rages on. Dani has a well-known reputation for being stubborn, which is not necessarily a bad thing. She is easy going and not one to pick a fight but should some poor souls attempt to provoke Dani, the wrath will be known, for she has temper underneath the calm surface. Daniyah is very responsive to her surroundings – like she was trained to be. She is also fiercely independent. Since she was little, Dani has been able to accomplish anything she puts her mind to and won't give up.
· Name Meaning: Daniyah actually means “near or close” in Arabic.
· More Information: You’ve seen a few pieces of her I’m sure, but I have some more linked below. She has become a bit more to me than just a member of the “Fancy Pants Kingdom” and I’m actually thinking about using her for another project all together.

· Personality: Calm and reserved. Very "down to earth" sort of vibe to her. She tends to spend most of her time in her cottage or garden. Talks to animals more so than people. Loves the scents of her old books and scrolls. She enjoys helping people with her craft/magic.
· Name: For now I think I will go with the name Eira (AY - rah) which is a Welsh name meaning "Snow"
· More Information: Would it be possible to make her to be either a redhead or brunette with brown eyes? If that doesn't match what you see then please go with your vision!

As to your requests.
To be honest, I do not think I am able to make something for Daniyah better than I had already made for her FPK portrait .
Plus she has white hair and that is what confuses me when I try to start thinking about her, because in Ydnel, one does not have white hair except for the natural grey hair in old age, while she is apparently too young for that 
However, if you are open to discussion and ready to change something in her image, maybe I could try my hands at it too
With regard to the "good village witch", it sounds much more promising. A kind of folk healer, dealing with herbs/stones to treat and soothe, close to the nature and both enjoying helping other living beings - it must be a wonderful person
I can make her hair dark red or auburn (the bottom colours in 6th or 7th column in Snow Scene palette), and her eyes could be dark or light brown, by your choice.
What about her Ydnel name, it could be Vida or Vidina (meaning "snow'' and ''snowy" respectively).

I understand completely about Daniyah - to be honest I figured as much - but it was worth a shot to have another piece of her done by you!
As for the village witch, I'm open to anything you have in mind. This is your world you have created and I am just here for the ride so to speak. I just thought the idea would fit in perfectly with the Social group of #3. I love the name Vidina! I think that would be a lovely choice and as far as the hair/eyes goes I trust you to do whatever you believe will look the best. (Being a redhead with brown eyes myself I am just drawn to characters that match me in that way; however, if you feel like a different hair/eye combo would fit your world/idea better then by all means please go with your vision!)

I do not have fringe either - had it in my early childhood and never liked. So I did not plan to include it anyway, just decided to ask you in case. About the hairstyle, I actually thought of high bun or a braid like at your picture.

If you go with the braid, then you could have the fun of "weaving" flowers and such into it to add more color and whatnot.
With the bun, that just pulls all the hair out of the way so you have more room (so the speak) to work with.

- social group: I think #4 probably suits her the best because she can heal poison and is immune to it in my other role-plays. She also loves singing, dancing, and books which all relate to the arts.
- the kind of outfit: Oh my. All of the outfits you make are pretty! It's hard to choose. Perhaps formal is my favorite though.
- preferred colour(s), perhaps some special features/accessories: In the role-plays she always wears white, black, and silver to match her brother. If you prefer to use brighter colors I think she would also like pale blue, pale purple, maybe even hints of mint or pale pink. Really anything you think would look nice.
- it would add to the personality if you come up with a name as well, and please tell what this name means: Well her name is Gabriella Vandeen right now but that isn't a very fantasy sounding name. If you have any good suggestions I'd appreciate it. I'm horrible at inventing fantasy names!

Kieron can have white skin, black hair and purple eyes. Alana has tanned skin, blonde hair and brown eyes.
Kieron's clothes can have blue and, as I said before, details in black and white. Alana's outfit can have green and pink and little bows on the pants/skirt (which you find better, I don't mind) of a yellow color.
And by last, he can work with perfumes.

Well, he could have white skin and purple eyes somewhere, but not in Ydnel. As well as in Ydnel, tanned skin and brown eyes do not go together with blonde hair. So, with the social positions that you chose, I can only offer tanned skin, brown eyes and hair for both of them.
