*edit* Uploaded a cleaner versionI kind of just started tinkering around with my coloured pencils and came up with this...Perhaps I'll keep going and see what I come up with...

i've often been told that the eyes you draw the best are usually the closest to your own, its like looking out from the page as you're drawing it and when you dont think about it there is real beauty there because the eyes represent so much of a person. and although you have coloured this beautiful blues and greens i see a familiar shape when i go back and look at your photos, it is indeed your own gorgeous eye staring back at me

Actually, it reminds like like part of a mask, the ones that go over the eyes and the nose (not the full masks). Face masks, I think they're called.

I came across this picture when searching for some nature ideas..so I think of some fairy who's hiding something in her eye because the eye looks sad..

The colouring is just so sharp and smooth and pretty, love the twirly lines-thing.

i love how realistic the eye looks.. how you got all the details down perfectly.. the corner inside part, and the gloss/shine on the iris.. the colors are beautiful and calming.. and i love colored pencil work, its always been something i do as doodles mostly, nothing i show anyone..LOL but i appreciate this medium VERY much, in hopes that i may be decent some day hehe
i love how you encorporated the eyebrow, and your blending of colors and shades is stunning.. its smooth and all flows very nicely..i also really like the two blue twilrs coming from the eye, very pretty touch, plus i like twirly things.. ~.~
when i looked at this, the first thing i thought was about how sad our plant, "mother earth" the creator, all of the above must be at what us humans, are doing to it.. and not cherishing it for its beauty and importance.. and no matter what we do against it, it still glows with beauty, and continues to grow for all of us.. like shes looking on in sadness, but will continue on just the same..

Thank you very much for the appreciation of this piece. The trick with colored pencils is a lot of patience and a lot of layering. I learned a lot from this website [link] take a look at it and take note of all of his tips & tricks, they really help!!!!
