uuugh x__o so many things went wrong with this one, I'm not even going to explain XD Just another one of my plentiful sketches that I had on the go during school, I colored, it and uploaded it, and blah.Tis Thunah again, where is Hawl? I dunno. Working on the 'vintage coloring theme thing. Wee!
Thunah is a little crazy, and thats why she's running around outside in shorts and stuff in winter.
Okayokayokay. YES I know I used 'warm' colors on this, I am not blind
I wanted to break away from the greys, blues and all around 'cool' colors that people traditionally associate with winter, because when it's winter its not always dreary and blue outside! Especially during a sunset, which its currently doing in the image right now. I named it 'cold winter' specifically for the contrast against the warm hues and yeah. /end rant!

Where I live it never snows. So the sun will be shining but it'll be 20 or 30 degrees outside! This reminds me of home.

I know I'll be just one more in the gazillions of coments that this picture has but I wanted to give my 2 cents...
It's amazing!!! Gosh, it's perfect, and all the colors contrasting with the winter idea of the picture... It's so great that I want to make a wallpaper with that if you dont mind.

And I was a tad confused about it being winter, based on the color. Funny to see how influenced we are by that stuff, ne? But you could tell she was cold because of her posture and the visible breath! Great job! Her body language really conveys the outer temperature.

Just in comment to those people who don't it's 'wintery' enough, I think the colours are absolutely fine. It especially reminds me of those crazy evenings where it just never seems to get dark because it's so white outside. If you really wanted to do anything else to it, all I'd suggest would be to give a bit of a hint that it's actually winter, perhaps a bit of snow on the top of that wooden pole where she's sitting. Or perhaps take out the pencil linework in her breath and emphasize the white a bit more? Otherwise it's very cute.
