Heres several images I drew for the animatic.The ones of at the top with the grey bg are the first images I drew on them in my newer style and more detailed outfits. You'll probably recognize Flutter's dress from that episode of MLP with the exception that I altered a couple things and the colour.
Twi's outfit was originally going to be purple to evoke a sense of "royalty" and class but was changed so that it didn't clash with her fur.
Rare's design probably isn't terribly accurate to the musical's character Villifort but how could I not take this chance to draw them as a fop.

Magic is added in post, I think, but this is just concept art so they haven't added any special effects to that part yet

May I ask a question which has been bothering me throughout all the cinematics (Mostly "A Story Told"): Where is Caderousse? Didn't he start plotting with Mondego and Danglars even before Villefort has appeared in the story?

Our animatic's are based on the musical's version of the story (because we're literally using the music) and Caderousse is not in the musical.

What program did you use to draw/animate?
Because I'm needing a new art/animation program for my computer. π

I draw everything in Photoshop CS6 and my sister edits it all in After Effects, plus a little in Premier.

It's so cool that you posted this! I've actually re-watched the animatic like 50 times and i've been trying to pause at the right time to see Twilight AJ and raritys new designs in that one shot. The concept design stuff is great too, I love the one where RD and twilights are talking ot each other. I assume those are the actual lines from the show? Either way, I'm loving all this stuff.
