Can Brutus infect Adriel with his evilness? What's going on with Adriel's black hand in the upper bit? Ra really cool looking and I'm curious

Answers to some of those questions are a bit spoiler filled but I will say that most of my concept drawings are based on ideas I had for the story but as we developed it some elements either got dropped or changed throughout the process. I will say that you won't see Adriel with his black hand during the animation, I'm almost 100% sure that, that got dropped and/or altered. (I'd need to make certain with the writer(my sister) but I'm pretty sure).
