Title is pretty self-explanitory.
I came up with the concept for this drawing about a year and a half ago... I was just doodling on a piece of notebook paper at school, and somehow ended up with a dragon with no head, hanging from a fish hook.
The things the hand will do when the mind is... fucked up 
Anyways, I was going thru old concept sketches recently and came across that poor dragon on the notebook paper and thought to myself: "Hey, this is unique... sick, but unique..." So I redrew it into my sketchbook, bigger and better!!!
I'm extremely proud of the results. I spent a lot of time working on the detail, expecially the scales... which I developed a weird sortof criss-crossy technique for doing.
Please don't think I'm extremely demented (I'm only slightly
); I have no intentions on decapitating dragons (for one thing they dont exist) or anything for that matter; this is just something that came out of nowhere. So, um, not much else to say. Enjoy!!! And please FULL VIEW because of DETAIL!!!

Off with his head! I always loved the show HighLander and the statement "there can be only one", just before his sword decapitated his opponent! Great job on this btw!

I just saw ROTK, and I quite liked that part when that chick (I forget her name) cut off the nazgul dragon's head.
