So, I've been approached by Late Knight Games for an opportunity to design some of the monsters for their game, a tabletop pokemon and D&D love child called Majimonsters. Specifically, for their newest Halloween expansion to the game, the Faces of Fear, which in fact, was just released today! To celebrate this occasion, what better way than to share what I've been working on these past few weeks with you all? Hope you guys like it!

I've worked on five of the monsters for the halloween expansion, each one of them based on a common halloween monster trope, with Wailer being based around banshees.
Wailer is a reclusive monster that haunts old ruins and cursed places with its screams at night. It uses it's ghastly cries as a ranged attack, and many are the ones to perish without ever laying their eyes on it.
This was also a pretty straight forward one, I guess the hardest part was to not make it look like "too human-like". Funnily enough, this design was chosen to be used for the cover of the expansion itself. It was quite a happy surprise to me to say the least!

While the Faces of Fear is just a small halloween treat for the fans of the game, this next expansion is supposedly much meatier (or so I've heard), and I'm also working on a few new monsters for it! I've personally haven't played any of the expansions or the base game, but working with Late Knight Games was really nice, so I hope they suceed on the new Kickstarter.
