Hi there folks! How are you doing?
I've had some cool days here, since the internet have been failing these days, I've been out playing plasket ball, and I'm taking my time do some cool art.
I saw some cool movie that I've heard a lot but I haven't had the chance to see. One example was district 9, it was a very reflexive and interesting movie, and I specially liked the concept of the aliens.

So I was doodling random stuff this week taking a time to doodle random stuff. And some of these random stuff that I did came out cool, so seeing the scribbles I thought it was time to do something like a "Reference sheet" or something for J with these sketches. Donc voilá! I
It's funny, I wanted it come out like this or this Even if I this didn't came out as elegant and cool as I imagined in my mind that it was going to look, I think it serves pretty well as a reference sheet. I wanted to post the day I did it that was on may 8, but I couldn't load it, so that's why I post it today. I hope you like it!

I hope that the letters are visible, I didn't added the kind of stuff like "eye color" "hair color" because...sincerely I think that's ridiculous when talking about a reference sheet drawing! I mean, cos you're seeing all these things in the painting, but what you don't see it's his personality and age and the other stuff, so that's why I added it
The stuff it's written in french because well, the character it's french, so I thought doing this would give the drawing more "environment". If someone of you folks are french or know french even if you're not french, I would like that you tell me if what I wrote its well writing please.

it says:

Host of the documentary show "traveling with chip and jean"

Main personality features: timid, reserved, curious, courteous, gentle and helpful.

Hobbies: Playing ocarina and ukulele, photography, fishing, snorkeling and diving, doing graphic art, watching retro cartoons and series.

Age: 22 years old.

There's some curious facts about this drawing and character:
1-- One it's that the career it's originally in french, not in english, so in this case I put * because the English one might be bad translated. So if you know how if it's good or bad translated, please let me know.

2-- I wrote "main traits of personality" instead of "Personality" cos people's personality it's not only a couple of traits, but various, human beings are complicated! So I never have got to understand why when presenting characters, people go and say "personality" and only post 3 things If I would describe my character's personalities with exactitude I think it would take a lot of time!

3-- that this character, as well as his best friend Chip, they will always have part of a real person's personality, and tastes. One person who was here when I was designing this character. Even if this person isn't here anymore, cos I always remember the ones who I meet and consider my friends, even the ones who gone and don't remember me.

4-- I was planning that maybe he was going to live in Port de Bouc, because I wanted a place who cas little, quiet, and near to the sea (so yes that's why he loved things that had to do with the sea) and I liked that one But I'm not sure of where yet, I'll decide this later.

By the way, the sketch of Jean with sport outfit it's him playing pong, cos he and his mom love pong.
