What happens when a tree decides to start growing right where you put a fence post? It just grows right around it! This is from Eagle Lake Park a few months ago. The Taylor family, original pioneers of Pinellas County, originally owned ALL the land that present day Largo sits on. The family sold their two large remaining parcels to the county at a steep discount about ten years ago with the stipulation the land could only be developed into a county park. They really did the surrounding community a great service and left a wonderful legacy.
