As much as I loved the relationship that Arno and Élise had, I ship Arno with Theroigne de Mericourt so much!! I like to imagine that, after the events of Dead Kings and after he rejoined the Assassins, he was a frequent visitor to the mental hospital that Theroigne was historically sent to in 1794. I like to think that she helped him finally cope with Élise’s death, slowly but surely, and during that time the two grew a really strong bond with each other, a bond that eventually became love.Related content
