Well I just made a pattern on photoshop and then paint bucketed it on the model, but there were just a LOT of buildings lolol xD

Yeah, I took a closer look and I was like WTF that's crazy! But paint bucket, huh? Interesting. I prolly would've used clone or something, but then again, I'm a bit of a newb; most of my stuff used to be done by hand the old school way.... lol

Lol well Google has a database where you can download models that other people have made. I found a city one and edited it to my needs because i wanted buildings of different sizes and shapes (so I didn't make a single building). Basically you have a material window where you have a bunch of textures you can basically dump onto the surface of a model. I had to do it for every face of every building, trying to make it look as nice as possible ^^

Hmm, interesting, I'm assuming they're stock/royalty-free type deals? I really need to start playing around with digital art tools more. I have access to stuff like Photoshop and Illustrator through work but don't even get to have fun with them. :<

I only did the lineart with the vector layer in Paint Tool Sai xD everything else was using the regular Sai brushes, Photoshop and Google Sketchup.
