Shouldn't there be Queen and Princess? Unless there are two diferent hives, there shouldn't be 2 Queens in one hive, it makes no sense.

There is a theory that she's the Queen in the ant sense. If so, there's no reason there can only be one per hive. One fanfic I'm reading currently has three queens in the main characters' hive.
Even if it is in a monarchical sense, if the government is similar to a monarchy but with two rulers, it would be sensible to refer to them both as queens. It's just that executive meddling kept Lauren Faust from doing that with Celestia and Luna.

I do agree there is some stretch in it (like Tirek fooled by an illusion spell, seriously? lolz), but that doesn't make it any less interesting.

put simply i can get an alternate universe story but solely if how we got to this alternate realm makes any damn sense. and it does not make any damn sense here and is simply insulting the show and its characters.
the last thing you want to do is start doing things and saying that the source material is just stupid. seen it happen far too many times.

it doesn't when what has led us to this situation is contrived. this is not itneresting, this is saying everything about the series is wrong and the sisters are just stupid. this is what we call a 'fix' story. and like all fix stories, they just make things more contrived and ignorant.
heck it also has to rely on the power of a fucking god tree not defeating tirek here as well.

Sunlight Shimmer isn't 'fixing' things like that, She is 'fixing' things like the mafia would, this isn't a story about fixing what was wrong with the series, it is a story about the rise of a tyrant. Or are you saying you want species driven to extinction, peacefully migrating people slaughtered as an example, and people held in double jeopardy?
