This is a rough sketch for a concept of a RISK game map I had been planning to start work on. Unfortunately I haven't had the time to get much done on this project. In all honesty, I only have a simple grasp of the game, I was working on this (as part of an entire game set- box, board, pieces, cards, etc.) as a gift for my brother and his best friend who were playing RISK an obsessive amount.

This campaign is entitled 'The Warring Kingdoms' and is inspired by a period of Chinese history before the Han conquered and united the general area under their single ruler-ship.

There's a mock-up of the design for the back of the cards here .

BTW, If anyone knows RISK well, I would love some help on how to best split up the territories and on their placement. Because of my lack of a great grasp on the rules and strategy of RISK, I'm at a great disadvantage for designing the actual blocking of the map. Heh.
