I tried the recipe like in the instructions and the the results were well... shocking.
I'm not exactly sure but i screwed up somewhere

Hrmm... Did you burn the custard or something? I tried with a 1000watt microwave and the custard came out all right.. Though you're supposed to stir it after the first time you put it into the microwave so it doesn't burn and get lumpy.
