I got it within Creative Commons-licensed content on flicker so i guess it's ok to call it stock
Anyway...i had problems with the shadow again. I first drew the lady to big, had to move it on a larger sheet of paper and when i wanted to add the shadow

Firstly, you're getting much better
Secondly, you totally stole my idea! 
But you are getting much better
One suggestion I noticed is - your shadow is very flat. Shadows are reflections so under the head, for example, it'd be a darker, more black shadow and so on and so forth

Well I don't use multiply just because it's not something I'm used to - it's not bad. I often use different layer styles to enhance my painting.
How do I do the shadow? Choose a saturated colour and paint on a layer underneath the painting
