May I ask how to write "tribe"
is it spelled as "t-ri-be" or "t-r-i-be" ? any fix pattern for spelling and dot placing?

I'm making a card for the gal I want to ask to prom (it's in the form of a TARDIS, of course), and want to ask the question in Gallifreyan. She's an awesome Whovian who insists she's a Time Lord.

When you're writing the letter "s", I don't quite understand where to put the lines extending from it. Also, my name has two "l"s in it, would i just write two of the character l? I'm a bit confused!

You can put the lines anywhere you want, and you can either write two of the character or you can write one character with a double circle.

I don't quite understand one thing, that being the placement of vowels. When do you place them on the circle of the word and when do you place them on the letter itself?

You place them on the letter itself if they come right after the letter. You don't have to do that though, you can place them on the word circle if it looks better.

Usually I have a problem with their placement on the letter itself, like spelling 'ba' for example, in my opinion it looks kinda weird... I will probably stick to putting it on the circle itself, it seems like the most conventional solution since they won't get mixed up... thank you!

This is the most interesting alphabet i have ever set my eyes on. I have tried so many alphabets, but never have i thought of it as this frikken awesome. I know that i will become obsessed with this. I will prepare my compass for a stupid amount of circles..

LOL, it was the forest people that "adopted" River that didn't have words for melody (hence using song) or pond (hence using river, the source of water). Gallifreyan, if someone ever actually develops the language, likely has words for both.

I just want to make sure I understand the alphabet portion of this-
the lines/dots go wherever on the consonant, as long as it's the correct amount of lines/dots. For the vowels, however, they just need to be approximately where they're supposed to be, i.e. the circle for a needs to be on the lower hemisphere of the consonant it's connecting to, o needs to be in the upper hemisphere, etc. It doesn't need to be exact. then, the letters go around counterclockwise from the bottom
also, for the line part, when you say "extend" them- does that mean to the next closest line inside the circle, or just out the little bit that you depict?
sorry for the rather long question, this is fantastic and brilliant (I've been using an admittedly more cumbersome method that involved writing out each letter individually, this makes it so much quicker).

If and when you revise this, you should use pronunciation guide for Gallifreyan letters instead of just directly linking them to English letters. The English language has a lot of inconsistencies about what "sound" each letter makes... inconsistencies that I doubt Gellifreyan would have.
That is not to say, of course, that there aren't multiple ways to write the same word (or at least multiple ways to write two words that are pronounced the same), which your current version already contains. I could just imagine how they would have "standard" ways of writing certain words, although both words would be pronounced the same when you read them, Time Lords would be able to tell which meaning of the word was being used by the directions of the lines, size of the circles, etc.

I wish I could do something like that, but the thing is, lots of people have already gotten permanent tattoos. If I changed the alphabet, that would make the tattoos inaccurate, and I don't want to do that to anyone.

Should I type how it sounds or how it's spelled? Example I know Carlos is Karlos. But what about the name Jose? Do I spell Jose, Hose, or Hoseh? or Hosay? It says to do how it is spelled, but then it will be pronounced wrong, no? This is fun though.
