Description
Today I have the first part of my upcoming Celestia sculpt. She is nowhere near done, but she's coming along nicely.I have been asked repeatedly to make a tutorial and since she's going to be my most involved and complicated sculpture to date, I figured it would be the perfect time to just get everything out. These multi-part WIP submissions should include everything I do when sculpting. I do not know how many parts this will end up being, but I'll keep making them until she's done.
If you have any questions feel free to ask.

I'm glad my suffering pleases you. lol.
But yeah, I do sand tremendous amounts. Even so, I'm not done sanding the bottom portion yet. After I add the boots, I'm going to go back and resand several areas. The very last step of the entire sculpt is to go back and completely agonize over every tiny detail. That step alone will take ages to complete and will require a lot more sanding.
I love doing the leg taper. I always measure the width of the hock and the bottom of the foot. Once I have those right, I just eyeball everything else in-between and sand it until it looks right.
Part two will take awhile, but hopefully not too long. I'll do my best to make it worth a look.

Great!!, thank you very much for the info, is being really great, it's true, I expect the next. ^^* I have a question, I can translate it into Spanish?, I'm in a group of fans of MLP Spanish, and I would like to share it with them ^w^

Go ahead. As long as you credit it back to me, you can use it for anything or do anything with it.

So you had to bake her in the oven between some of these steps?

Yep. Pretty much any time you add clay to it requires a baking step. This clay can be rebaked as many time as needed. Just let it cool in-between bakings.

So it's alright to mix Fimo with Super Sculpey?

As long as it is mixed well, you can mix pretty much any clays together. So yep.

Thank you. The next part's coming, but it'll be a bit. I already know how I'm going to do the next part, which figuring it out is the hard part, so at least that's out of the way.
