Format: 256 Γ 192 (x2 - Nintendo DS)
Some pixel art done to kill some time at my aunt's place. Done in an oekaki program to prove it's pixel art, but the animation doesn't work properly... ~_~; I guess that's what I get for doing it on an unfamiliar oekaki.
I think I went a bit overboard with the dithering, though, but it was mainly something to eat time while I stayed at my auntie's place, with her inferior technology that didn't work with my portable hard drive ;_;...

Meteos and Tetris Attack are 2 of my favourite puzzle games, if only you had Kirby's Avalanche/Puyo Puyo in there, you'd be set for life.

First of all, that moon boss was one of the greatest things in a platform game.
Second, is this a mock up of an actual Meteos level? It looks like a mix of a few puzzle games. I havent played any of them though.

It's a mix of Meteos and Tetris Attack. It's basically a picture of Tetris Attack with an enhanced UI, with the Meteos's side not playing by the rules. This is why the Garbage block has such a surprised expression on it's face.

I was thinking the same thing. It was what I was going to draw on the board I drew this on, but it's a Nintendo only board and Meteos isn't a Nintendo franchise.

How is Meteos? I've never really played it. Tetris Attack however is my favorite. game. ever.

Meteos is like the inverse of Tetris Attack and it's really addictive once you get the hang of only being able to switch blocks vertically.

Oh my, quite interesting... Just asking What technique do you usually use for creating sprites? I just haven't seemed to grasp the technique of creating a pixelated masterpiece.

I kinda just handle pixels the same way I handle regular drawing. I don't treat them differently, so it's sort of difficult for me to explain...

The damned animation is ruined there! I was pissed. It completely defeated the purpose of turning it on... now how will I defend myself from all those dudes who always come after me about my work, telling me it's not pixel?
