Description
I can't wait to be able to legitimately play this game again, thanks to the Nintendo Revolution....I wonder how many people can actually identify this character? It's a shame that this game wasn't that popular...

This game wasn't popular?
I practically worshiped the thing, and I didn't even own it.

It wasn't even close to popular. It was just obscure enough to become overrated nowadays as a hidden gem.

So a friend of mine got into playing Mischief Makers on an emulator, and then we looked up the Wikipedia article online, and then I saw this on Marina Liteyears' Wikipedia entry, and I followed the link, and BAM! Here I am.
I really like this. It's a fine pixel recreation of one of my favorite characters in video games, and if I squint just a little I can recall what the original official art looked like in the magazines and box art. *sigh* Those were the days. Here's hoping the Virtual Console makes some dreams come true.
Fun Fact: Ms. Liteyears is the namesake of my own original character. Sue me XP

I LOVE THIS GAME!
I can't stress it enough.
Say, do you have any favorite bosses? I personally like the battle with Leo in the monolith. The strategy was very unique.

I don't remember any of the bosses names, but I really liked fighting the wolf dude while riding the cat. The sheer concept of fighting a werewolf on a motorcycle while riding a cat and catching his missiles was fantastic.

I found a copy at my local gamestop, but they don't have any N64s... Selling my N64 is one of the few gaming decisions I regret making. I can only hope that SquareEnix isn't going to be an ass about putting this on the Virtual Console. I'd buy it on the spot, even though I don't have a Classic Controller with which to play the game with...

hmmm yea - i remember you used the "c" pad to do the rushes but i think you can also do it with the D pad- it would be hard to localize but i think its doable! I gave away my n64 too but we have n64s at my job. -So thats where i have my mischief makers and my pokemon puzzle league >

I love Mischief Makers! It was one of the games that I would hold up a a reason to own an N64. I mean, it was one of the few games, but still. It, Paper Mario, Diddy Kong Racing, Mario 64, Pilotwings 64, Ocarina of Time... There were a good few reasons.
I don't know if you care or not, but you can find the music for that game here: [link] . I really dug it.

I got the USF soundtrack the moment it came out. I've kept the entire Zophar.Net site backed up on my computer since I got high speed internet... and yes, the Mischief Makers sountrack was all kinds of awesome.

Does the Soundtrack include the song that was played during the Japanese commercial of the game? ='D

I wouldn't know. I've never seen the Japanese commercial. It's a game rip, however, so if that song isn't in the actual game, I'd guess it does not.
