Full title: Expect The Worst/'Cos She's A TouristJust a little something that turned into a bigger little something. I like when this happens---when you're just doodling and then something really good pops out. I jumped on the occasion to abuse of my boyfriend's PC, which has OpenCanvas on it. This is my third time using OC, so I was a little uneasy with it, but I still find it simpler to use than Painter.
I like the result. About time I make something I'm completely satisfied with! I'll try using OC more often.

thank goodness that a decent artist has put up an ad. The only ads i ever see are ones of people who take black and white photos of them and their friends and say that its art. >.<

The perspective on this picture is just awesome. Next to the coloring this picture is really hard to not to fav.The creamey hair looks awesome, so is all of the clothing with the tattoos, It just fits all together far to easily. Great work.

Awesome perspective on this. :] I really dig the little bit of extra negative space on the top, it adds to the perspective, gives it more of an illusion of space. The character's expression is pretty cool too, she looks like she's glaring up at a hidden security camera, all like, "I knooowwww you're watching, you sneaky sneak."

WHOA... I mean, seriously that is one amazing drawing! First off lemme just say the perspective rocks. Full stop. There is no way I could do perspective like that. I've tried so many times but failed pretty much all of them. But this... It just get's smaller and smaller the further you go down, like I really way looking down on her.
Secondly, this pic has a great feel to it. It's so... I dunno. I just could look at it, and be inspired in a million different ways, ya know? Maybe it's the design, the details. Both of which are very well done. (the skull tatoo is great!) The way that shirt goes... just awesome.
Great colouring too... the shading really makes it 3D. Nice use of picture space too! It looks really great, like she's so small in this huge world. (like the shadow too!)
Thirdly, it's just well drawn. It has so much poise. So much style. I really love it!
Is it going on my favorites? Well, duh...

As for the perspective---it's a very hard angle to do indeed. My tip to you would be just to go nuts with it. If you try to stay rational while drawing somebody seen from that angle, it won't work. I just tried to go with something that was visually pleasant, and for some reason it worked better than when I really build the body thinking perspective.

Lol, thanks, but I don't have OC either---I had to squat my boyfriend's computer to use it! I have a Mac... and OC doesn't exist for Macs, unless you install VirtualPC on it, and I wouldn't want that. I didn't buy myself a Mac for it to work like a PC!
