Dude, I make the strangest fanarts.Joan of Arc, from the TV series Clone High. If you don't know what it is, go watch it. Now. You don't know what you're missing.
It was hard to adapt her into my style because I really was influenced by the original UPA flatness, hence her arms; her hips and bent back just... turned out weird. Those of you who actually know the show will notice what I tried to do, the others will just think I fucked up the anatomy. (Wait, I did.)
I LOVE the way her face turned out. Really. I'm getting something here.
Oh and, I did everything in the picture, background included. Don't you go thinking I took the picture from the official site or whatever. Too bad I couldn't find what the hell the official font was. Damn.

awesome! i only saw a few episodes of clone high before it was cancelled (damn hindu's) but it was an awesome show. i was lurking through some favs when i saw this pic and my reaction was "holy crap is that Joan of arc???" you almost never find people who know that show anymore. great job.

anyway, this pic is really awesome. I loved Joan (and clone high)!
some of the lines (especially on her hand) are a bit fuzzy. I don't know if that was intentional, but i think it would look better if you smoothed them out. regardless, it's really good.

Great job. I can tell instantly that a lot of your "paranoia" about anatomy isn't because you don't know it, but because you do and you're accomplished in properly abstracting it. Or maybe not. Maybe it's all the perception that you want us to think that you truly know how to abstract the anatomy, but really don't but really do. Oh now, I've thoroughly confused myself.
Regardless stellar piece. Great use of color and the body language is priceless. Great rep of the character.
