This tutorial is not bad. It covers some good important points. The example used for the tutorial looks pretty good.

Very nice and useful tut I think 
Even thought it deals with basics it is still what is the most important... And most of the times forgotten 
And after blending it looks great...
Now you can make some good tutorial about how the clothes behave on humans 
No ok, I as just kidding
I'm not going to draw, at least not now...

well so far I heard some good coments on this tutorial. an yes the basics are most often forgoten.
an I just might do a tut on folds. ^_^ give me time an I will.

Oh right, but you are drawing using pencil+paper, scan and then color on comp, right? 
I would have to start drawing well with pencil, but I'm out of patience to it
But well, when I will get bored someday I'll try to draw something while keeping in mind your, err... Advice

yes just pencil an paper drawing, scaned to the comp an colored in my photoshop program.
