[link]The motion sickness past, I’ll be the first to stand.
Behind that weathered door, I thought it would be safest.
My head is dizzy now, I thought we’d overcome.
i've heard my art consists of depth-less, scratchy, unfinished sketches that show my lack of commitment and heart.
but if this doesn't prove that idea wrong, along with every drawing i ever make, from scrap to original concept art to completely colored fanart, i don't know what will...
i pour my heart into my drawings, no matter what the subject is. and i happen to find inspiration in good story-telling.

sketchy drawings are the most beautiful... ur expressions are as real as they can get while still being a... not a cartoon... idk, but AMAZING BURDGE! ur art inspires me! u don't understand how amazing an artist u r! u should do the drawings for the characters in percy jackson, not those terrible cgi things that rick riordan puts out! I love this drawing.
I know this was ages ago, but still want to say something about it. I LIKE the way your drawings are sketches. This may sound strange, but you know how Rick Riordan calls himself the official Scribe of Camp Half-Blood? Well, for me, you're, like, the official illustrator. I can just imagine you sat on the hill, watching all the demigods go by, and drawing what you see. They look like they're done from observation, not just imagination. Not that there's anything wrong with imagination.
Sorry if that doesn't make any sense. :/

That's exactly how I feel, haha. I pretty much picture everything in the books to be the way she draws them, and most of the characters, too. Sometimes I like her portrayal of them better than the descriptions in the book. xD

She should totally draw herself at Camp Half-Blood, sitting on a hill or the dining area or something and drawing Percy and Annabeth and their friends waving to her or something like that... that would be so awsome! You reckon she reads the comments? We should all send messages and stuff, get the idea in her head.

this is a beautiful picture and you can see just how careful they are with each other, I imagine this to be the reunion scene of them and that Percy is just trying to remember every detail, Annabeth looks very shocked to see him after eight months, either way you can just feel the love between them. Very good job

I feel like out of all of your drawings, this one has puzzled me the most. All of your pieces have some sort of background to it, or some story. I know these characters and I know their history, but I'm just confused about this scene. In my head I'm trying to figure out who needs the "getting up", who is encouraging who. Maybe they both are. Maybe they are feeling so overwhelmed with their duties and that they never really got to live the life of a normal teen. Maybe they are in the midst of a battle that they are losing hope in. What ever their story, this scene is an absolutely beautiful piece. I can feel the emotions just leaping off the paper and into the hearts of others. I love your inspirations and I love every single drawing.

I don't know why people would say such things. The majority of my own art is quick sketches and line art. Your stuff is very good though I'm sure people tell you all the time. People who say those things are just jealous of your talent, jealousy is never pretty.

I come to this website just to look at your art and to see if i can recreat it, but your art is so unique i never can fully recreate it. less is more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! o my gosh, you don't know how upset i'd be if you started coloring and perfecting every picture you did, cuz then you'd take longer to make more pictures, and when you polish all your pictures up, you are taking away that rugged sorta uniqueness they have! Art that is super detailed and super perfect impresses me, but never has as much of a lasting impression, when I look at yours, i can't stop thinking about it. And the unfinished sketches are nice also because you are able to capture so much with so little (pencil marks)

please, don't EVER think that your drawings are depth-less, skratchy and show lack of commitment. your drawings are so beautifully drawn that they give me the chills. your talent leaves your pictures full of motion and the story is unraveled by just a snapshot. don't be discouraged by haters. i find your art to be absolutely amazing.
