[link]The motion sickness past, I’ll be the first to stand.
Behind that weathered door, I thought it would be safest.
My head is dizzy now, I thought we’d overcome.
i've heard my art consists of depth-less, scratchy, unfinished sketches that show my lack of commitment and heart.
but if this doesn't prove that idea wrong, along with every drawing i ever make, from scrap to original concept art to completely colored fanart, i don't know what will...
i pour my heart into my drawings, no matter what the subject is. and i happen to find inspiration in good story-telling.

i can't believe anyone would actually say that to you. you can tell you have heart and commitment, it's VISIBLE in your art.

awwwwwwwweeee..... how could anyone say that about your work i adore your artwork i WISH i could draw like that! my drawings suck, i'm sure you put a lot of work into your drawings, but i love when a drawing looks so NATURAL like yours do, like it was no problem to draw. my drawing look so forced... idk how to describe it. i love your style like the emotions in your picture seems very real & believable, mine just look like cardboard cutouts of people.

Pffft I don't know what whoever said that is thinking! I love all your art, ESPECIALLY your sketches, maybe even more then your finished work (although please don't take this the wrong way, I love them too, but your uncoloured stuff just seems to convey the emotion perfectly already) and I like the pencil lines, haha.
Sure, everyone has something they could work on, and nobody's work is ever going to be perfect, but I think your art is lovely and you totally inspired me to read PJ whick I am now obsessed with *dies* so thank you! <3

Do me a solid, do ONE more drawing turtorial, just one, on drawing different poses and getting them in proportion. I'm not asking for, like, a drawing encyclopedia, just a few examples and notes on getting proprtion right in different poses.
I'm going to post this on every one of your drawings I look at in the next week (which is a lot) so I don't mind if you say no but I'm going to get the message to you eventually.

That was a rant? For me that's how I talk to my friends on a quiet (for them lucky) day. Yes, I am an avid ranter, in case you couldn't guess. Whoever told you that is so dang wrong. They couldn't be more wrong! I love your work. I always seem to come across them. There should just be a "Add Gallery to Favorites" button, because I seem to always find something to luff.

When I saw this I thought that Annabeth would be sating something like 'Remember me Percy, please remember me' Since he's closing his eyes and a bit away from her when she edging clloser to him. It just made me think of the son of neptune becuase I just read it, I think it would be the perfect sceen

I'll always favor sketchy artwork. It has more life in it than cleaned up work does. I feel art is the only thing in life that looks nice messy. (If there's any comfort, true art-recognizers would never say art is depth-less and unfinished because it looks sketchy...)

who ever told you that is.....stupid, just dumb. you can tell you get the characters very well and their feelings, which means you have to have depth. And sketchiness is a very good way to portray emotion and depth. Tell them to stuff it.

I like the scratchy, unfinished sketchiness that shows your lack of commitment and heart. They show FEELING, and that's harder to find in the finished, unscratchy, clean drawings that DO show commitment and heart.
Personally, I like FEELING more than commitment and heart in drawings. But that's just me.

I know I know, everyone has told you this, but let me have my say too. I admire your sketches, more so than your finished pieces. Your finished pieces are wonderful and I love them, but I'm always amazed at the emotion, character and depth that you can convey with just a few quickly drawn lines. The simplicity is beautiful and I hope you know this. I find no shame in being a sketch artist. If that's how you best express yourself or how you like to make a statement, then power to you. You have a gift that unfathomable amounts of people yearn for.
