Only in Japan would some one hang the umbrella up and not run off with it. If you lose something in Japan your odds of getting it back if it contains your personal info are much greater than elsewhere on the planet.

Look at everything crammed together. That tiny balcony in the top left. For some reason I love this aspect of Tokyo. Is that a post box at the far right? It sounds silly but I really regret not sending a post card home when I was there.

I've never been there but have seen the vending machines on TV. They have literally anything you could imagine depending on location. At a rail station they might have machines containing clean underwear or even live crabs boxed in clear egg box type containers which I thought was more than a little cruel.
