Description I've got some explaining to do with this little guy. Five years ago (I think), when my dragon obsession was in top gear I was also a bit obsessed with Pokemon. Now, what I'm into has a serious effect on my imagination and my interests kinda got mixed together. So I ended up drawing loads (and I mean loads) of dragons that were different elements (electric, fire, ground, water, you get the idea), and somehow this little fella came into being. A somewhat embarrassing phrase in my creativity but hey, I was only 12 (the original pic's a shocker when you compare them. I think I might stick it in my scrapes sometime).

About him:- basically he's part thunder, part fire. Fits quite well when you think about it. His sub-species name (I like to think of those elemental dragons I drew as sub-species) is pronouned 'sir-gone-doe', don't ask - I came up with it walking between lessons in year 8. His name is pronounced 'Tee-O' - since he's been in my head for 5 years I think he as least deserves a name.

Sorry for rambling, just enjoy.

Very nice job here! The design of the dragon is original, and I love the colors and shading. Also, I like the fact that this is a friendly-looking dragon; those are my favorite.

Glad you like it. Most of my dragon designs are friendly. But that said you might not like my next one as much.

That's okay. I'll still proabably like the design; you do great computer art. By the way, how do you get your airbrush works so crisp-looking and smoothly-shaded? I'm pulling hairs trying to do that!

I just select the outside of the sketch in Photoshop, invert the selection, and fill it with the base colour. Then I lock the transparency in the layers pallete (it's the checked button towards the top). Of course I keep all the different parts (body, belly, eyes) on a seperate layer. If that sounds too confusing, don't woory, I'm thinking of making a tutorial of the making of my lastest pic. It'll be clearer in that.

Awww, sooo cute! ^^ I love the expression, but you already know that, don't you ^~ You've gotta redraw those old dragon pics, y'know.
