I'm not a fan of Hawkheart, why? Because(spoiler alert if your reading Bluestar's Prophecy) he killed Moonflower.

If you look past the fact that he killed Moonflower and step into his shoes i think you'll understand why he did it.

some she-cat from another clan raids your camp for no reason and starts tearing up the medicine supply. without the herbs and remedies, WindClan is basically screwed. i don't think he was right in killing moonflower, but considering his personality and justified rage, i can't bring myself to hate him for what he did.

He was just defending his clan. She was destroying the medicine supply and I bet he didn't mean for her to die. Accidents happens. Moonflower knew the risks. He's a very loyal tom.
