Sometimes it is better to let go, than to hold on too tight, it just hurts too much... And if you do hold on too tight, you end up hurting yourself...(This image REALLY deserves to be seen in full size, lots of details....)

Great concept...and a very true statement...I can relate that razor to so many people...certain people in particular fit it like a glove...and it looks like a glove is needed for this kind of situation. Not that that made any sense. Anyway,

I'm thinking perhaps if you really want to bring out the detail in this, opt for black and white, or even desaturate all colors except for red.

Well, i didn't want to overdo it, i went for the more sublte picture. Maybe it's too subtle, but i have seen lots of pics that are really blood and gore all over, and that's too much, and now, when looking at this picture, the first reaction usually is "ok, a hand holding a razor" and then, when looking closer, the reaction to the cuts is coming, and that's the effect i was after.
