Description Now it is time to start filing again! I like to use needle files and small files for most of my carving and filing on my knives. They don't take a whole of metal off at a time, but they are flexible.

Because they don't take a ton of metal off, if I screw up the mess up isn't bad. The flexibility lets me do the curves and wings that you see on a majority of my art knives.

Ahh I think I understand you had 4x halves before with the same profile on each side, were they just templates you welded together? Be interesting to see this finished since I'm kind of lost at this point.

Hmm. Let's see.

I have 4 halves that I welded together, since I want each side of the handle to be mirrored. I am doing my best to keep it from looking lopsided or one wing being longer or shorter than the other four that I have. lol

Are you going to weld the 2 halves together to make a thicker same profile piece?

Ya I am having the same thought. I am really curious to see where this thing is going.
