More practice in layer paint, learned some cool new features that were hidden in the program this time. Like opacity adjustments, color pick short cuts, and a paint blending with the air brush tool. I also used my new wacom bamboo stylist I ordered off of amazon. Pretty happy with how this one came out. Getting the hang of it! ^^ Started this one at the bar last night finished it this morning while out side on my garden patio. Looooove not having to be restricted to just my desktop anymore to paint!Its a Flame-faced Tanager and I used this image Ref: www.ownbyphotography.com/Flame…

Love love love! The colours are awesome! And I love how bold your colours are, from bright yellow to suddenly purple but still that softness to it. This is surely one of my favourite Speedies from you dear and definately inspiring.
I wish i had some good feedback for you, but i am not that good to offer good quality crit. But maybe in the lower back nearby the wing would do with some more shading?

XD I never thought of it that way. but yeah I just sat out side listening to our backyard birds while doing this. Guess it really did shine through!
