Hello:
These are renders of my interpretation of another modified version of Rendilli's famous Dreadnaught class Heavy Cruiser ( www.deviantart.com/chiletrek/a… ), the Assault Frigate.

The Assault Frigate was a rare variant created originally by some Rebel Cells during the Imperial era, basically adding the extra engines from the Light Frigate variant and a couple of extra turbolaser blisters. It makes the ship a bit faster and agile than the standard Dreadnaught, but it's added defenses made it quite the good heavy hitter.

Since the New Republic got their own "Dreadnaught" with the Champion class heavy cruiser, Rendilli got the permission to sell their new version of the Dreadnaught alongside the variants to Local Government Forces and compete directly with Corellia, keeping Galactic economy very busy and active.
