Description
Have some art.I hate picking titles sometimes.
The background and setting were inspired by some of the scenery I came across when I went geocaching a while back. There was a rather fast moving river, and some neat rocks with easily visible strata. I'm quite happy with how those trees turned out as well.
The color scheme was a lot of fun, too. I spent more time on this color scheme than several of the others that I've made lately.
I'll probably follow this up with some quicker speedpaints.
I may re-upload this in a minute if DA's viewer over-saturates my image, or if I find details that need to be fixed.

Geocashing! That's a fun activity, even if I'm busy to do it often. Unfortunatly, whenever I get the time, it's really cold and threatening rain.

Good title in any case!
One thing about your dragon artwork is that most of them show calmer moments of the species. Not every day has to be rawr and blazing laser eyes in it!

Thank you very much.
I tend to enjoy those sorts of calmer scenes more than the tense ones.
Dragons are always majestic.

I love your dragon art with someone else doing something together. So many times dragons feel..... distant in works of art that have them socializing. Whether in a work of art or a book. Having the human and the dragon doing something together, stargazing, the human reading a book outloud, or just reading one together, makes them feel more real. Not just some distint powerful creature.

Thank you.
I tend to enjoy these sorts of quiet scenes, as well.
That's probably why I draw them.
I'm glad to hear that you enjoy them, as well.

yah its easy for me like when I desided to write a book (Im working on it) its called "dragon dawn"
let me tell you somethings about titles when you image some thing in your head and you draw it out like what was your meaning to draw it or what something or someones may be doing in the image hope that helps

Ooh, I didn't see this on FA... also, stupid FA for resizing these epic works of yours.
This is gorgeous. I'm such a fan of golds and metallics, and this certainly looks very metallic on the dragon itself. The blue eye is a very nice touch, great focal point.

Ah, I see you already found my DA.
I didn't upload all my art when I joined FA, but I'm thinking of uploading a few more of these pieces that I put on the calendar.
Before I made the color modifications to this one, the foreground and background blended together, and nothing really stood out, except for the eye. I like making contrasting eyes.
I'm glad you enjoy this piece.
