Time for more art!
This one took a bit longer than my last few. I remembered to check this one with a few different color profiles before submitting it this time, so hopefully I won't have to make my usual flurry of edits.
I tried to use a softer texture this time around. The glowing scales and colors were especially fun to use.

hm... to me, the hips and hind feet look disproportionately large for the upper half of the dragon's body. i do like the face, setting and pose though.. interesting concept. the lighting is also nice.
as for that thumb, it's there, though the way its drawn makes it a little hard to distinguish, i suppose.
and i guess.. yeah, that wing shoulder does look a little too close to the foreleg/arm shoulder. a tad more dorsal might look more natural?

I'm sorry this reply is so slow... I've been trying to get caught up on my messages.
I adjusted the size of various pieces of this picture several times while I was working on it. When I first drew it, the legs were comically small. Comparing the size of the legs to the head now makes me think that I overcompensated, though...
I've uploaded a few minor edits since this picture was first submitted. I went back and re-drew major portions of the thumb and hands. It may be difficult to tell the difference without a direct comparison, but I think it looks much better now.
On my next one, I'll try to do a bit more sketching, and see if I can position the wings a little better., and avoid awkward proportions. Thanks again for pointing those things out.

Love it. Pose is interesting, the lighting is good, and the translucent wing membranes were handled well. My only issue was the glowing scales, but that was before I fully read your comments.
All around good piece.

That's still one of my favorite movies...
This picture wasn't intended to reference it, but perhaps it is one of the reasons why I think dragons and stars go so well together, thematically.
