Took me a long time lol, but heres my recent FF fan-art, depicting Yuna from Final Fantasy X performing "The sending" an act that summoners such as Yuna herself do to send away pyreflies ( those pretty glowing spirits, which may be loosly based on one of Japans ancient traditions involving free spirits depicted as fireflies ) in order to let them go to their final resting place, if not, then the beauties can potentially grow jealous of the living, and turn into more irratating enemies that caused me to drop out of the game ( yeah, I'm pathetic, hopefully this here makes up for it lol ).Once again, like most of my fan-art, it was referenced from a small, low-quality screenshot from a video lol, some may recognise this scene from the game too, the pose, angle and sunset lighting in this exact frame made for a dramatic and beautiful scene I just had to draw, even though I knew it would be hard
Oh, and before you start cheering on how I learned to make custom watermarks, I havn't, this version just has it saved on the actaul image, which is no problem as fan-art can't be sold as prints anyway

I never took any notice of the games before seeing some awesome fan-art of them here either lol. I still couldn't warm up to the game that much, maybe if I discovered them earlier on when my mind was more easily manipulated lol, But I still love drawing Final Fantasy's awesome characters and dramatic scenes

I had soooo trouble with the face, as I always do. But after spending what was probably four hours on that alone, I just thought "aah screw it, it's good enough" and started working on the rest

I notice that you always use very vibrant super vivid colors on your arts... more than I could use, well at least you are consistent, not like me.

Lol, well even though I use bright colours a lot, the real scene of this was pretty colourful anyway ( the pyrflies for one thing, Yuna's bright costume another, all mixed together with the colourful sunset at the time ) So it's safe to say that these are the "realistic colours" here
Another DD? that would be awesome...But it would be wrong of me to expect another so soon ( not that I could get one for a few more months anyway )

Thanks, next to making characters anotomically correct, lighting is probably the next most important thing to get these ones look "realistic"

I Love it! Yuna was, no is, one of my favorite FF characters after Cloud. Beautiful colors and it looks like the actual Screenshot from the game when it's smaller
But the few things I noticed
Her boob, ya, her boob, seems a bit well, protruding. I don't remember or not, but it just looks like maybe it's too far over or un-proportional to a degree.
And her chin is sharp =\

Thankyou, yeah, no-one can top Cloud in my books either lol. I guess her boobies are a little larger than life, at the risk of sounding perverted, I did want to add an extra inch on there lol, but also consider the rather high angle looking down too

That is amazing dude. Yeah, I recognize that screenshot, infact I have it on my computer. It looks like the real thing! I would never even bother to try and conquer something as graphically complex as that. It would take FAR too long to recreate every aspect of the scene o_o. That HAS to be digital... even still that's incredibly hard to do.

Lol, thanks. Yes, many asume digital art is "easy" and can be done within a few hours lol. But you are right in how complex it was to try and re-create an actual scene, It was tough work and must have taken no less than 25 hours

Omg... I don't do (much of) digital art because it's so time consuming. To get everything right, it takes a massive amount of effort to complete. Even in 25 hours... I think that's good timing to make something like that. I'd probably say it'd take me twice as long. Then again I don't have photoshop
