Something for everyone, and Myself in the spirit of My first Christmas on DeviantArt. And what represents this time of the year than the classic Christmas tree.I was going to make the lights all white for a more formal look but decided that colourful lights look more cheerful and theres bound to be a colour that everybody likes shining between pale fronds of magic. I was even considering making it into a Christmas card even if I have to wait 'till next time.

It's so pretty *_* I love how the colors reflect onto the white tree, and I love the details on the bark and in the branches *3* I also like the star at the top and how the light above brings your eye down to observe the whole work. A very simple concept but you made it unique, I like it a lot ^^

This one took around a few hours...maybe 8 at the most, most of which was spent on the leaves. I could have done it faster if I had a tablet at the time lol, but I had been doing this for years before even this one here, which is years old by now already

I certainly did, I found a way to replicate the pine needles relativly quickly (still took a couple of hours just for that) but there's ways around lots of things by mouse with some inventive thinking

sometimes slowness is what creates impressive pieces of artwrork - one of my mums pieces is done entire in dots and that took her six months and the result was wonderful

Lol, thanks! Trees are one of the few common, everyday things that I never get tired of looking at, and yes - these days people are getting more creative with Christmas tree's too and they get more beautiful every year
