Joel from 'The Last Of Us'

God knows how many hours this took, especially as progress slowed down after I completed his face; I ended up coming back to it randomly for short bursts, trying to perfect the clothing and create a background which didn't look tacky or draw attention away from Joel himself. I would estimate hours... somewhere in the high 20s. This is indeed a drawing that I can safely say I'm proud with the finished result!

Materials used:
Pure graphite pencils [WH Smith brand], HB, 2B, 4B, 8B, 9B.
White crayon for beard/hair.
A LOT OF ERASERS.
A3 sketchpaper (fine grain - heavy weight, which I HIGHLY recommend for detailed drawings.)
