Description Cheesy title... Anyway, I got a little tired of seeing all the drawings I do during classes (where, somehow, the best pictures and the best ideas come up) without being able to show them to anyone. Several of these will probably become sketches for a deviation, some are just experiments and doodles. And yes, somehow I actually manage to pay attention during classes, of some reason. Most of these I have come up with without any thought behind it, they are just pictures that randomly comes out of my pen. Many of them are characters from one or more of my stories/alternate worlds. With one exception, they all are made with my trusty ballpoint pens. The exception is made with mechanical pencil (I think).

About each of them (if you bother to read, I think it's easier to follow the numbers on this than on the WIP overview thing):
1. The first doodle of the school year, made in syntax class. Not any specific character, except that it looks extraordinary much like a two-years-old doodle of Ceiri, an earlier character that is now put on hold. That character was one of Arodhi's slaves of sorts.
2. Random face. Somehow I have completely fallen in love with this face. It seems so...clean, in a way. (visually clean, not hygienically clean, although preferrably both...)
3. Another face I kinda like. Some construction lines still in place. Never got the time to finish this one, probably never will.
4. Not much to say. The result of extreme boredom and a subject I didn't understand in the least (at the moment). She looks kinda in-between tired and grumpy, don't you think?
5. Meant to depict the three different races of elves, but after the first one (to the right) it kinda went downwards. From the left: Gelgarin, dark elves and nomads. Nomads are the ones that look the most elvish, they have long, somewhat pointy noses, large, tilted eyes and ears that are quite long and at the most tilted angle. They are also the tallest ones. Dark elves have slightly milder features, but still very "elvish" features. The ears are slightly more tilted upwards. Gelgarin have the mildest features, with the shortest ears pointing almost straight upwards. The nose are less pointed than the other races' noses, and their eyes are the smallest (but still noticably larger than a human's.
6. Practicing clothing, but some folds went totally astray. Still. Full figure!
7. An elvish princess. Partially a dress design.
8. Dress design. I'm quite fond of this one. I'm going to make this bigger and part of a full picture one day. A noble lady of the mountain cities, perhaps.
9. Hair fun. I really like this.
10. Shading practice with ballpoint pen.
11. Just a doodle and a practice on... a lot. Especially more modern clothing.
12. Doodle in between two computer linguistics lessons.
13. Doodle. I kinda like this.
14. A queen rising from her throne. That was the thought behind it, and that's how it is. The clothing is inspired by the white witch in The Chronicles of Narnia.
15. An elf with wacky hair. Simple that.
16. A practice for clothing patterns (although it ended with very, very little) and braids. Or simply a doodle.
17. Shading practice.
18. Warrior princess. Her legs are a bit short. The start of an idea.
19. Pencil! And probably one of the sketches I'm the least satisfied with.
20. I like this one. The clean lines. And the nose.
21. Druid - start of an idea.
22. Nomad elf dance. This spawned another, more refined sketch and my current big project. I don't think it will live up to the picture I have in my head, but I still like it. The dark eye make-up and the wild hair...
23. Warrior queen and one of the first crowns I've ever drawn.
24. Sketch from my maori lesson. I originally drew the woman to the left, realising that she looked like someone from a sci-fi movie or something. Since we were going through an old maori story in the lesson, I got inspired to draw the woman on the right, of some kind - not to be similar to maoris, but just as a contrast to the other woman.
25. Dancer. Yes, her neck is long and her legs are weird.
26. A sketch where I changed my mind about the angle all through the drawing of the face. Like the body, though, and the concept.

I really wish I could have this much fun in a classroom
These sketches are most helpful, as I'm just getting the hang of human faces and such - if you do not mind that I use them, that is, I find them perfect for reference.

Most amusing are your descriptions, C. (Mind if I call you C? XD) 3 and 10 do seem my favourites but there are to many to ponder over and it is very hard for me to remember numbers XD

I don't mind that you use them, I think it's quite flattering that you think they're good enough to reference...
Heh, I've never been called C before. Cool.

I just can't seem to stop drawing during class, I get so easily bored... Luckily the teachers I have now never complain about it - the joys of university... Nobody cares what I do during class.

I got tired of them just staying in my notebooks with nobody seeing them There will probably be more of these. But it took quite a while to put together all these so none overlapped the other...

Yes, it looks like it took some time.
