is nice, is simple,i like. so let's start wandering in the photo. i see the wanderfull use of the s line rule(congrat, you are the first one), i see the flow, is nice, but i can't see the origin of the train, i can see that it's want to move, but becouse i don't see it's origin, i see it stopt. My eyes wander and they see the subject is nice, is positioned well, right in the first critique point, i like that, but after trying to go whit the flow, the bat part apears, the yealow from the right, is distracting, is bad to the photo, you see the left side si nice, nice collor, and tone, and on the right i see yealow, is bad, is distracting my eyes. I like the smoke, it's congruenci is nice, i see it's origin, and is the subject, is nice, now i see the main subject is set is the train(the lines, the critique point, and the 3'th element that direct's to the subject). Going up, i don't like that much, you see you have a big white blob, and my eyes are stuck there, the line's are saving the photo. The tones on the subject are nice, showing me that, it's from the place(the collor of the train, is like the collor of the soil, and the track's), the lines are wanderfull, and the middle rail way, give's a nice touch to it, makeing the photo, flowing more. Now for the advice, try to get a lower angle, then the i can see the origin of the subject, and the flow will be smother, life like, that will make the yealow dissaper, and the grean to,giving the subject the abilit of moving.

The Hogwarts Express is the first thing that came to my mind. Wonderful photograph, too!

You're welcome, and I understand about Harry Potter's frequency in the comments of train photographs. I'm sorry if it bothered you at all.

I had no idea that song existed! Thank you very much for linking it to me, I now have to find that track, my iPod must be graced with it's presence!
I even have a deviation with the exact same title in my gallery, and have now updated it to include some of the lyrics from that tune.

This looks so beautiful
It's like Harry and Ron's point of view when they were chasing the Express with the Ford Anglia 8D

Oh, then I apologize.
I know it can be pretty frustrating when people tell you all the time that "hey, is that from HP?" or "that looks like the one from HP!", but I'm pretty sure you know that not everyone are railfans or at least have any idea that the Hogwarts Express has this kind of machine or that kind of rolling stock. I wasn't really at any rate offended while reading the journal entry, but that was until I saw the "not impressed" mood at the bottom. Again, sorry, but not everyone are railfans, or better yet, not everyone in the HP-verse are railfans. I'm sure you'd understand.

The first thing that I actually thought when seeing your picture, was actually praising the angle you took it in.
I didn't even think about Harry Potter until I saw some of the comments, and then realized the trains were similar.

This is stunning! Congrats on the DD. This train reminds me of the one Jeremy Clarkson was in when he was racing James May and Richard Hammond to Edinburgh.

The distinct scent of roasted nuts indicating superheated steam, nothing like it.
