Part 1 -LMS Princess Coronation Class 8P 4.6.2 number 46233 "Duchess Of Sutherland" thunders northbound through Leyland with "The Royal Scot" from Crewe to Carlisle on 9th June 2012. The tour originated from Milton Keynes, and was diesel hauled to Crewe where the duchess took over.

Once again, lousy weather makes for much more interesting photograph.
I would try cropping just below the tops of the trees, and perhaps taking some off the bottom, too. I think you would end up with a considerably more dramatic shot.

utterly stunning. The driving rain makes the shot look, as Shenanigan87 said, epic.

I have to say that the rain makes it quite epic and more interesting than just a "normal" steam shot. Not that such a shot would be boring, but there's just something special about curtains of rain in front of a glowing headlamp.

Thank you sir It was a rainstorm that attacked us from behind, and devastated everyones attempt at shooting it but mine, I must have been the only person that actually had their camera shutter move on that station that morning.
