There's something I've been thinkign about for quite a while. Won't the people around you see your chin when you're suited up, or is it a way to cover that?

For some gundams, the human eyes might actually line up with the helmet's eyes. I found using lenses from reflective sunglasses works nice if you can find a color-matching one.
Where do you source your transparent plastic?

Not exactly....the maker is in control on how he/she wants to align the eyes with the mecha's eyes...
I get them from stationary stores
