Alex was watching The Simpsons on television, when the TV suddenly went to static. As he tried to fix it, a voice announced, "Congratulations! You get to be part of The Simpsons!" Suddenly a yellow light shot out of the TV and entered his body. Immediately, his body started changing leaving Alex in a state of complete confusion.

His body lost its masculine features and gained feminine ones. His face became more feminine with not even a hint of facial hair. All his body hair disappeared leaving his skin feeling unnaturally smooth. His skin turned yellow. Alex could only gasp and hope the changes would end soon.

While all this was going on, his entire body gained more cartoonish traits. Soon Alex's body became fully female. Looking down at his, or her, body, she saw that instead of looking like a male human she resembled a female cartoon character, one who belonged in the world of The Simpsons.

Child sized clothing and accessories emerged from the TV consisting of a white pearl necklace, a red dress, and a red pair of shoes. Alex tried to swat the clothing away, but it was no use. They swarmed around her and fitted themselves onto her body.

At first, it was a tight fit making it difficult for her to even breathe. Then the clothes started to fit. It was because she was shrinking. As she shrank, she also became younger. This caused her to scream. Her voice sounded like a girl in elementary school.

Frantically, Alex searched for her phone which she had left nearby. She found her phone and quickly grabbed it. At the same time, her hair fell out. She felt the top of her head and realized she was bald. Thoughts about what to do next raced through her head and she knew her intelligence had increased. It reminded Alex of someone turning into Lisa Simpson on DeviantArt.

Yellow hair emerged from her head and shaped itself into the familiar style of Lisa Simpson. Just as suddenly as the changes had begun, they ended. Immediately afterwards, a fierce wind pulled Alex inside the television before she could get away. The entire world swirled around her as she fell into a deep sleep.

Alex awakened somewhere outside in the world of The Simpsons. She looked just like Lisa Simpson. In the distance she spotted the Simpsons' house and headed in that direction. She thought the best thing to do was go inside. To her surprise Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie were all there to greet her.

"Welcome to the family," said Homer.

Alex just stood there in a confused silence. Just a few minutes ago she was a male human, not a female cartoon character. First there was the static and then the voice and then Alex didn't know what happened. Lisa brought her a mirror. Even though Alex still had no idea what was going on, she could see that she looked just like Lisa.

"How did this happen?" gasped Alex. "Why did this happen? Why am I in the world of the Simpsons? Is there a way out? What am I going to do?"

Marge came over to Alex to comfort her. She gave her a hug the way a mother would. Alex enjoyed the hug. This was the calmest she had been since the TV first went to static. Marge then took Alex to the couch and let her sit on her lap.

"Mom is here for you," she told her calmly.

"You are not my mother!" screamed Alex. "I have a mom at home and she is probably worried about my disappearance!"

"You are now part of the Simpsons," insisted Marge. "Your old mom is no longer your mom because you have Simpsons family blood. She will no longer be looking for you. You will enjoy playing with your sister and attending Springfield Elementary, especially music class."

Alex had already graduated from elementary school and did not want to go back to it. Music class would just be too confusing. She continued to panic while Marge continued to comfort her. Angrily Alex tried smash the stuff in her room hurting them financially but found herself unable to do it. It was as if some mysterious force was preventing her from doing it. This was because the Simpsons was intended for prime time and there were certain things that just could not be done.

Alex regretted trying to harm Marge and hugged her back. Marge took her up to her room which looked just like Lisa's room. It was like everything in her room was cloned. Even the saxophone was cloned.

Marge showed Alex all the things that now belonged to her. She picked up the saxophone and tried to play a song on it. Although not perfect, it was far better than she thought it would be.

"Why do I look like Lisa?" she asked in a tone less hysterical than before. Alex felt strange when she talked because she sounded just like Lisa.

"Lisa wanted to have a twin and I also wanted another child but did not want to get pregnant again," explained Marge. "This seemed like the best way to do it."

Alex started to feel better about things. Seeing she was feeling better, Marge said, "I will leave you alone to give you some time to adjust to things." and then left.

Alex went to her room and looked around. She noticed it looked just like Lisa's room. As she rested, she thought that being Lisa would not be so bad after all. Ten minutes later, Homer came up and said the whole family was going to Krusty Burgers to celebrate Alex's new life as Lisa. With a smile Lisa, formerly Alex, got in the car. She knew she was going to enjoy her new life.
