Sally was walking down a city sidewalk when she noticed a hat with a feather in it on the ground. It looked like the kind of hat worn by Puss from the Shrek series. She loved The Last Wish and all the other movies featuring Puss. Out of curiosity, she put on the hat and looked at her own reflection in a nearby store window.

The world around her began to change. It looked like Sally was in a CGI movie. The city became more like a small town. Any people who happened to be in the area disappeared from view. Modern objects were replaced with their older equivalents. The nearby store turned into a tavern though she could still see her reflection in the window.

Her own features were also changing. Her breasts disappeared. Orange fur covered her entire body. Her hands and feet became paws. The clothing she had on transformed into a swashbuckler outfit complete with sword and cape.

All her feminine features disappeared and were replaced by masculine ones, or at least the animated equivalent of them. All human features disappeared and were replaced by those of an animated cat, more specifically Puss from Puss and Boots. By the time the changes were done she, or he, was fully male.

As he continued to look at his reflection in the tavern window, all thoughts about being Sally faded from his mind. They were replaced with memories of being Puss, his childhood, his adventures, and his friendships with people like Shrek and Kitty Softpaws. Puss combed his hair back with his paws. He could not deny how handsome he was.

Puss entered the tavern and ordered a glass of sour milk. He tipped the bartender with money from the latest rich person that he robbed. He also paid the nearby band to play a song for him. It was a song about his adventures designed to satisfy his own ego.

While Puss was lapping up his sour milk and listening to the music, a wolf came over and sat beside him. The wolf was known as Death. He showed Puss a wanted poster with his picture on it.

"I am looking for somebody," explained the wolf. "Have you seen him?"

After finishing his sour milk, Puss just gave a loud belch in response.

"What a waste of a life," Death mumbled to himself.
