I had a poll asking people which caption should get a sequel. I said the caption with the most votes WILL get a sequel and the others, including the write in votes, might get a sequel anyway. Below are the results. Since the TG TF entry has won every time, this is more or less what I expected.

The people in the area had been warned about the kitsune, or fox spirits. After the disappearance of Carl several years earlier, no one dared stray too far from the main path. That was until Vlad entered the forest. It was not out of carelessness. He intentionally wanted to find them.

Unlike the others, Vlad thought a fox spirit was a source of good luck. He journeyed to the place Carl was rumored to have been when he disappeared. It was years ago so he did not expect to find him. What he did hope to find was a fox spirit.

Being pranksters, the kitsune would sometimes give people exactly what they wanted. Carla emerged from the forest and danced all around him. Even his eyes had trouble keeping up with her. Carla motioned for Vlad to follow her and led him to what appeared to be an abandoned shrine.

Vlad could not believe what he saw. The shrine should have been deserted for decades, maybe even centuries, yet it looked brand new. A staircase led up to what appeared to be modern conveniences. He ran up the staircase thinking he had received the good luck that he expected.

When Vlad stopped at the top, Carla ran up to him and bit him on the neck. He dropped to the ground and covered the bite marks in pain. It did not make any difference. In less than a minute, as a result of the bite, Vlad drifted into a deep sleep.

Carla danced around him as the transformation took its effect. It started in the place where he was bitten and spread to every single part of his body. Vlad dreamed about being a fox spirit named Violet. Soon the dream became a reality.

His hair grew all the way down his back. Body hair disappeared. All masculine features faded and were replaced by feminine ones. Even his genitals changed leaving him, or her, fully female.

Her ears turned into fox ears and moved to the top of her head. A fox tail grew out of her and wagged back and forth as if it had always been there. Finally her clothing changed, even while she slept, thanks to the growing magical powers deep within her.

The physical changes were complete yet she continued to dream. She was not yet ready to face the world as a fox spirit. Her dreams taught her how to act like a proper kitsune.

No longer would she respond to the name Vlad. She was Violet and that was the only name she would acknowledge from that point on. In her dreams, she was running through the forest pulling pranks on various humans. This pleased her very much.

Violet woke up the next morning. Carla was watching her from a distance. She did not want to interrupt her natural sleep at such a critical moment. The two of them instinctively got together and planned what to do to the next human who dared to venture near them. It could be years which gave them plenty of time to plan things out.

In the meantime, Violet wanted to test out her new body. She danced around like a shrine maiden who overdosed on caffeine. It did not matter that the shrine was merely an illusion. It was real enough for her.
