This is suppose to be Chpt 1, where Dev and Tyr first encounter the power of SIM in the form of a blue cubic barrier

Hmm ...

I like Dev's Glasses and the look of scientific interest on his face. Dev wear round, Tyr wears square tho.

If you think it looks better reversed, I can change the story to meet this tho, especially since now it's true text and not an image I have to re-post every time.

Tyr is above-board a pip so that's a good expression for her.

The cube is about the size of Dev's hand, though, it's not big at all, and it's on the floor, Tyr is pointing to it as Dev sits in his chair on the computer.

Here is a very rough sketch of what I saw when I wrote it.

The kind of violet of Tyr's eyes I was thinking more like 226,84,250.

If the sketch is too busy, we can keep what you have, just shrink the cube a bit, and either reverse the glasses or keep them as they are.

Here is a description of DEV from the character synopsis:

...

Dev Borne is just your average 11-year old boy, that is until he received the mysterious plugin that changed both his and Tyr's life.

He often wore more grown-up clothes spending time thinking more about what to learn rather than how to appear to others. He usually wore plain-color T-shirts, standard knee-high shorts with little brass buttons, and a blue-grey set of tennie-shoes with matching white socks. He also seldom changed his style.

His glasses were light blue and round, but still not terribly attractive, and they were oversized for his age. He also didn't like the fact that his glasses bugged out his own eyes making him an easy target for ridicule.

...

Here is a description for Tyr:

Tyr, 12, often wears her favorite summer blouse with little blue elephants shooting pink hearts out their trunks, a cute and short ruffled and breezy green skirt with darling red felt apples dangling on the sides.

A hair barette of little wood fairies wrapped around brightly colored ribbons to hold her long red hair in place, cotton knee-high socks dangling little sparkly purple pom-poms, and pink princess tennie-shoes with reflective shoe-laces to glint in the light.

Because she thought she was a "little lady" she also had earrings she made in art class of cardboard stars with glue and glitter held on by soft furry clips.

For glasses she had these not terribly attractive oversized pair of square rectangular white glasses, but they magnified the view of her perfect violet eyes.

Well, that's fine. I kinna wanted her to have an unearthly eye-color. One that even doctors might scratch their chin on and say, "Hmmm ... Never seen that on a little girl before."

And the reason for the eye-color being violet is explained in the 4th novel as that's a non-standard color I know.

I always get details switched when I go to draw (have to have my own OC's refs at all times), so I can redo this one; chuck it up to experience.

The references and sketches provided will be helpful, but I tend to learn by trial and error. Please tolerate some more practice/misteps while I work out the kinks.

Sure. Just make the cube smaller and you got it !

Incidentally I'm using The Maxthon 3 browser which is REALLY fast, but unfortunately it shows all the stupid ad-windows.

I sure do like the Adblock Plus for Firefox. Unfortunately even with ads removed FF runs slower than this particular browser for my blog work.
