Finally actually finished her new outfit design >.>; Kept it simple, cause, Ayla is a simple girl =w=;

I'm currently working on a new look for Ayla. As it stands, in the storyline, she has been in Ryan 's character's gym until now. We're doing a time skip of about two years, so I have to take into account the length of her hair and any physical maturities that may have occurred.

The only constant in the design will be physical attributes such as hair and eye color, and the ribbon she wears in her hair.

There is also a locket which she's had since birth that will always be there, as it has significance in the story.

For those of you that don't know the character, here is a brief synopsis.

Name: Ayla -nolastname-
Region of Origin: Hoenn
Age: Original age 16 - After time skip 18
Gender: Female
Personality: Cheerful, happy, hates people, loves pokemon, distrusting towards humans, always takes a pokemon's side over a human, thinks herself more pokemon than human
Bio: Abandoned at a young age, Ayla was alone in the world with only her small Eevee to call family. No one took pity on her and she lived a pretty miserable life. She would do odd jobs around her hometown for food or money, often being taken advantage of, such as not being paid, etc, etc. Not going into details. Her Eevee would venture out and find berries for them to eat.

Eventually Ayla grew to hate humanity and socialized with only pokemon. She spoke the language and even acted like them, she showed no interest in human culture and cared only for pokemon friends she met on her travels.

If it came to it, she would challenge a gym to receive award money for traveling and food. Which is how she met Ryan. Ryan is the final gym leader to get out of Sinnoh. He is hard to find and only the strongest of champions know where his town is located. After defeating the Pokemon League in Sinnoh, Ayla was ready to leave the region, so she challenged Ryan, inevitably losing the battle.

After a series of events occurred involving yet another evil team by the name of Team Shade and Ryan proved to her that humanity(at least himself) wasn't all evil, she'd just drawn the short end of the stick, he convinced her to stay at the gym with him. They aren't lovers at this time.

After the time skip, Ayla resides with Ryan in his gym until the notorious team Shade raises it's head again. They then close done the destroyed Gym and head to the new region to figure out what heir plan is and stop them. Somewhere during their mission, Ryan and Ayla develop feelings for one another and do end up together.

Pokemon that followed her through her travels:
Eevee - now Flareon - The pacifist of the group (unique - about the size on an Arcanine due to the length of his time with Ayla and her love for him) often carries Ayla on his back to save time on walking
Glaceon - Prim and prissy - loves to groom herself and often found concocting new schemes to find Ayla a boyfriend, and herself of course. Her ideals often clsh with Jolteon's
Jolteon - Very father-like towards Ayla, refused to accept Ryan as a suitor when they first met
Leafeon - The healer of the group, he often stays out of arguments and doesn't play much of a roll
Typhlosion - Ayla's official starter pokemon, even though she had Flareon from the beginning
Shiny Eevee - (Espeon after the time skip) Playful and bratty

Ayla dislikes the idea of pokeballs so usually her pokemon are all wandering free, unless the case of a dire situation the pokeballs are never used.

Vaporeon
Delcatty
Houndoom
Articuno ((rescued Ayla from an ice cave))

This was how she looked at 16 her outfit was a simple tank top and pleated skirt, something simple and convenient for traveling. However when she got older she decided it wasn't practical for the colder climates in the new region and changed out for something more versatile.
