My array on the weapon of choice is the 3DStudio MAX, Photoshop and AfterEffects.
From those three the MAX is the hardest to learn, but with some tutorials from youtube, anything is possible.
Also a Wacom tablet is really a must to paint the textures with.

Hehe... If Rebecca (the character in that scene) would be "virtually real" and interactive, I'm sure she would be squirming around from anxiety to get to feel that.
She absolutely loves the attention to her feet and is always showing them around, going barefoot where possible.
