XD Fan service (to me) is quite simple.
here is the literal definition of it:
"Fan service
FanΒ service, fanservice, or service cut, is material in a work of fiction or in a fictional series which is intentionally added to please the audience. The term originated in anime and manga fandom but has been used in other mediums. It is about "servicing" the fan β giving the fans "exactly what they want.""
In other words...Ask your fans what they want most from you, in a short, or in a piece of art work, surrounding your sans, and give them...that. Some people do a post of their character for others to put their OC in, or some do silly one-shot comics surrounding their character to make people laugh. That or a QnA.Β
(When my artwork gets better and I make my undertale AU I will be doing some of this)
